Fried Apples and Onions

These go great with a bit kielbasa, smoked beef or other sausage. If your kids really don't like onions, you can cook the onions and apples up in a separate pans and just mix them together on your plate.

Heat the butter in a skillet large enough to hold the apples and onions. Cook over medium low heat until onions are golden and apples are soft. Sprinkle with some brown sugar and serve.

NOTE: You can use bacon grease instead of butter and it tastes fantastic, but not quite as healthy!
