Getting a cold? Make hot lemonade from fresh lemon juice. Sweeten with honey.
Coughs and sore throat: Again, hot water, honey, and fresh lemon juice. You can also gargle with salt water.
Increase circulation by adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to your breakfast oatmeal (or yogurt or whatever else you're eating).
Insomnia: Drink some warm milk or cocoa before bed. The warmness is soothing and the calcium relaxes you.
Constipation: More fiber, of course. Fresh fruits, oatmeal, whole grains. But also try tablespoons of black cherry juice in a glass of water twice a day.
