Which Cookbook Would You Buy?

the smitten kitchen cookbook
I like exploring new cookbooks and frequently use the library to try out new ones.  We all have our favorite cookbooks, I’m sure.  Many of mine are older but it’s fun to look at the new ones, too. I’ve read good things about The Smitten Kitchen that make me want to explore it.

If you had a chance to buy one new cookbook, which would it be?  Would it be some ethnic cookbook of a new cuisine you’ve been wanting to explore?  Or a cookbook on a certain style of eating?  Or one of those monster “everything you ever wanted to know” cookbooks?  Or would you replace a dog-eared one you already know you love that is falling apart from use?

Let me know which new cookbooks you’ve read or heard about you’d buy if you could?

Please let us know in the comments which cookbooks look interesting and useful.  Or if you’ve recently bought one you love, let us know that too!

I’m waiting for September 2013 when the Beekman 1802 Heirloom Dessert cookbook comes out – and I’m sure I’ll go to a book signing so I can add that memory to my previous experience with these fantastic men!

I would like to get the Complete Cook’s Country TV Show Cookbook or the Essential New York Times Cookbook – Both look really interesting!

I would love to find a low carb slow cooker cookbook that had healthy recipes with spices that are good for us.

My coveted cookbook right now is Wild Fermentation by Sandor Katz. I’ve started fermenting my own stuff, and his video was so helpful. I imagine the cookbook has lots of yummy recipes and tips.
