When my girls were younger, I could always get a smile by making the first letters of their names in their pancakes. You just need to dribble the letter into the pan first (backward, so it will be right when the pancake is flipped). Wait just a minute, then pour the rest of the pancake batter over the letter and cook as usual. The letter will stand out. Hope your kids enjoy it!
Custom pancakes
I made pancakes for my high schooler the other morning. It still brings a smile to her face. 😉
Sometimes I just use Bisquick for pancakes but other times I mix up my own, which really doesn’t take much more work. Here’s my pancake recipe if you want it.
