A while back I made some JoJo potatoes, following bits and pieces from a few Internet recipes. They came out good but I forgot to blog the recipe so it’s gone. ;( However, to my rescue comes The Spice Depot with these cute grinders of various spice mixes. They offered to send me a couple of samples and I chose a JoJo Potato Seasoning and their Salad Seasoning.
At the farmer’s market I picked up some cute little fingerling potatoes and used the JoJo seasoning on them, tossing them in a small bit of olive oil, grinding the seasoning over them and stirring, then roasting at 400 until they were done. Mmmmm!
I had also picked up some baby yellow and green summer squash. I sliced them up and sauteed in a bit of olive oil and butter, then ground the Salad Seasoning over them. Another hit.
Next time I’ll have to try the Salad Seasoning on some salad!
