Woefully Behind … My Calabria: Rustic Family Cooking from Italy’s Undiscovered South

I have been cooking up a storm and gardening. I have managed to take photos of some of the dishes but have not done any write-ups. Sorry!  I have been exploring My Calabria: Rustic Family Cooking from Italy’s Undiscovered South and am loving it.  In addition to making me want to cook more, it makes me want to grow more food too!  I loved learning about this region of Italy, plus seeing the photos of her own garden and reading the stories of how things used to be done.

So some photos for now to give you an idea of what’s in the book. More on the book later but if you want some good Italian recipes, these are all delicious so far!

Bread from starter
Pizza with Squash Blossoms and Goat Cheese
Chicken Broth with Ricotta Dumplings
Stuffed Pizza with Chard and Borage Leaves
