Pizza Sauce from Canned Diced Tomatoes


  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 an onion, diced
  • 1-2 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 15-oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 6-oz can tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Italian herb blend
  • 1 pinch salt


  • Saute the onion and garlic in a bit of olive oil until soft. Then add everything else. 
  • Cooked it at a low simmer for an hour, stirring and break up the tomatoes periodically.
