Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp minced dried onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp dried red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried minced garlic or garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  • This makes the equivalent of 1 packet of taco seasoning mix.
  • Make multiple packets by laying out squares of aluminum foil are small snack baggies and adding the spices assembling line style. Add the dried onion to each bag, then the salt then the chili powder, etc.
