Bring the milk,water, and cardamom pod to a boil. Turn heat to low, add the tea, and simmer a minute.
Then turn off the heat and let it sit for a few more minutes. Strain and add the sugar. I found an old newspaper clipping I'd cut out ages ago with a variation to this, which had a slice of ginger added.
