Country Coleslaw Recipe (No Mayonnaise)
Ingredients
For the Salad

head cabbage
cored and thinly sliced into shreds (about 8 cups)
1
cup
or more shredded carrots
1/2
cup
finely chopped onion
For the Dressing
1/3
cup
apple cider vinegar
2
Tbs
olive oil
1/2
cup
sugar
1/2
teaspoon
salt
1/2
teaspoon
celery seed
1/2
teaspoon
dry mustard
Instructions
Put the cabbage, onions and carrots into a large bowl.
In a small saucepan, combine the dressing ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer 1 minute, still stirring.
Pour the hot dressing over the vegetables and stir well.
