Ingredients
4cupscoarsely chopped apples
2cupsflour
2cupssugar
2teaspoonsbaking soda
2teaspoonscinnamon
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2cupvegetable oil
3eggswell beaten
2teaspoonsvanilla
1cupchopped walnuts
GLAZE
1cupsugar
1/2cupbuttermilk
1/2cupbutter
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
Instructions
Mix the dry ingredients, then stir in the wet ones, then stir in the nuts. Pour into a greased 12"x9" baking pan and bake at 350F for one hour.
After you pull the cake out, mix the glaze ingredients (sugar, buttermilk, butter and baking soda) in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Pour over cake.
