It’s November and it’s raining so it must be time for chicken soup with rice for dinner! I made that recipe again, but I used just 1/2 cup of rice and 1 cup of water rather than 2 (so 5 cups total liquid). Delicious! I like it better this way, with a bit less rice.
I also made another olive loaf. This is about my 3rd olive loaf. On Halloween I made some split pea soup and an olive loaf. We had two extra for dinner and the bread was devoured! There wasn’t much soup left either. I used up a cup of diced ham I had in the freezer for the soup, which depletes my supply.0
