easy green beans with seasoned pepper

Totally Simple Green Beans Recipe

Looking for an easy side dish?  I made this from the big 2 pound pack of fresh French green beans at Costco.  I used about 1/2 a pound in this recipe and it probably was about 2-3 servings, depending on how much you like green beans and what else you’re serving.

Simple Green Beans with Seasoned Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 1/2 tsp or so seasoned pepper

Instructions

  • Bring a small pot of water to boil and drop the beans in. Cook about 3 minutes, then drain.
  • Place in your serving dish and toss with a pat of butter until the beans are coated, then sprinkle on the seasoned pepper.

I’m not a black pepper fan but I really like the seasoned peppers. Try Lawry’s or the California blend from Penzy’s. Got another favorite?  Let me know in the comments!
