Here are some dinner menu plans for March. It’s not MY menu plan for March as I’ll be trying some new recipes.
Week 1
- Baked Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Peas
- Split Pea Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
- Lo Mein with Leftover Ham, Stir Fried Asparagus with Sesame Seeds
- Grandma Alice’s Chicken, Savory Baked Rice, Brown Sugar Carrots
- Breakfast for Dinner: Apple Puff Pancake, Sausage
- Garlic Pizza with White Sauce, Salad
Week 2
- Cream of Broccoli Soup,
- Garlic and Brown Sugar Chicken, baked sweet potatoes, greens
- Grilled London Broil, artichokes,baked potatoes, fried onions
- Lemon Pepper Chicken with Artichokes, Braised Red Cabbage,
- Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Shells, salad
- Tacos (from leftover london broil), Ranchero Pinto Beans, Avocado Salsa
Week 3
- Corned Beef, boiled potatoes, cooked carrots, steamed cabbage
- Reuben Sandwiches and Asparagus Soup
- Red Chicken or Tofu Curry, rice, Cucumber Salad,
- Shepherd’s Pie (aka Cottage Pie)
- Grilled pork tenderloin, parsnips, spinach, pasta and ricotta
- Maple Dijon Baked Chicken, orzo, steamed green beans with a pat of butter,
Week 4
- Frog Eye Soup, Bierrocks aka Runzas (Meat and Cabbage Stuffed Pies)
- Grilled Marinated Chicken Pieces, Potato Pancakes, Swiss Chard
- Pork Chops, Baked Sweet Potato, Asparagus
- Cheeseburger Soup
- Veal Stew, egg noodles, spinach
- Spinach, Bacon and Cheese Quiche
Desserts to Try
- Apple turnovers
- Sliced oranges sprinkled with a tiny bit of sugar and splashed with vanilla
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Cottage Cheese Pie
